Why, Gandhi...why?

Gandhi… Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, died. Soon after India was independent. It didn’t turned out to be the way Gandhi had thought about the independent India. People called him Father of Nation, the whole world admired him, but even when he was alive, people were killing each other on the name of religion. Muslim neighbors of Hindus, who used to celebrate each other festivals suddenly wanted each others blood on streets..

The independence – which meant a partition, and cutting out its own mother land and produce Pakistan and east Pakistan (now Bangladesh) would have been very much tough for Gandhi and people of India, not more because of the partition, but because of the blood shed, killings, riots, smoke, rapes, beheaded torsos. Muslims were migrating to Pakistan, and Hindus from Pakistan were heading to India (Hindustan), train was the most suitable transportation then. Never in history has anyone seen such a sight…

Millions killed.. Gandhi was fasting, as usual. Mohammad Ali Jinnah died soon after Pakistan was formed. And Gandhi too.. neither did get to see much of free India or Pakistan respectively. Soon after Pakistan was formed, they Pakistani army would keep attacking Kashmir. The then king of Kashmir, Hari Singh, told Nehru, not to give in. India was still to credit 55 Crore Indian Rupees. Hari Singh, in his letter, written to Nehru informed that as far as he’s alive, Pakistan wont get Kashmir. And requested not to give Pakistan fifty five crores rupees which was to be given to them after the partition. Gandhi, went on fast. Again! As he was the father of nation, Nehru had to give up, obviously for political reasons. India gave 55 crore rupees to Pakistan then. Before 60 years, which proved to be the seed money for them to buy Ammo and feed terrorism, which has been the long term problem for India. Since independence.

NOTE : considering 55,00,00,000 Rupees (1947)

Earlier bank interest rate was 18%/year

And now its 9%, so take an average of 15% growth in that Rs. 55,00,00,000

That way its value doubles if kept in bank for 5 years

1947 *- 55,00,00,000, **

1952 -- 11000,00,000, 1957 – 22000,00,000

1962 – 44000,00,000 1967 – 88000,00,000

1972-- 17600000000 1977-- 35200000000

1982-- 70400000000 1987-- 140800000000

1992-- 281600000000 1997-- 563200000000

2002-- 1126400000000 2007—22,52,800,000,000

That’s 22,52,80 Crore Indian rupees. … now dividing it by 40 gives its value in dollar..lets do that.. .. and its $ 563,20,000,000 .. that’s 56320 million dollars..!!!

See now you know .. where our father of nation messed up ?

* is the year.
