Abstract
E-commerce growth has been changing the way customers and vendors do businesses.
However, it changed the customers’ perception of privacy when they share their personal information as well.
This paper discusses the ethical implications of information privacy on E-commerce and addresses in which way privacy concerns might affect E-commerce adoption by customers.
As privacy concerns and violations increase the government has been promoting standards and regulations in order to address citizens' concerns. Globalization requires that governments would follow international standards when they approach this subject.
This research also provides practical approaches that would endorse privacy issues from an ethical point of view.
